Technical Due Diligence

In order to ensure that an AI solution is operational, we need to gather data about it, including studying the source code. We will also research the niche to understand demand and evaluate the product’s positioning.

Our AI due diligence processes include mandatory examination of all data sets used to train AI models. We will assess their quality and quantity to make conclusions about the accuracy and biases in AI-delivered results.

Alltegrio ML consulting experts will study the machine learning algorithms used by the model. We will evaluate their performance metrics, accuracy, reliability, and scalability to get a clear understanding of the model’s efficiency.

At this step of the technical due diligence process, we will assess the performance of the AI solution as a whole. The task is to determine the quality of its output compared to desired outcomes. We will take note of any errors or deficiencies in the model’s output.

One of the last stages of AI due diligence is assessing the system and its architecture as a whole. We will perform rigorous tests to evaluate its resistance and scalability. We will also run a wide range of security tests.

After we answer all technical due diligence questions, we will provide a detailed and transparent report. We will highlight the red flags and potential investment hazards as well as a list of strengths and weaknesses of the solution.

How well-written is the code? Is the code commented and documented properly for every version? How scalable, viable, and secure the technology is? Can the product be reproduced?

Are there any indispensable employees in this project? Are there security or reputational risks connected to the team and company in general? Are the team’s credentials up-to-date and sufficient to cover this operation?

How efficient and accurate are the model training settings and processes? What are the KPIs used in the model training? How scalable are the product and technology? Checking for biases in AI performance is included in our technical due diligence.

Is the product documentation complete and up-to-date? Is the product ready for deployment? What is the deployment process? Is the development team well-balanced with a wide range of talents and skills?

Is the data used for model training of high quality and free of biases? Is the data secure? Is it easy to collect data? What data collection and processing methodologies are used for ongoing model training? Is the data mutable?

Is the product protected under the law of intellectual property? Are there any patents involved? Is it necessary to patent the solution or parts of it? Can the product be duplicated? How easy will it be to duplicate the product?

We will study the product concept and provide an impartial assessment of whether it can be effectively built from the tech point of view. We will also do market research to evaluate the viability of the product on the market.

After a detailed study of the code, data, and AI training algorithms Alltegrio AI engineers will provide a technical due diligence report offering an unbiased opinion about the mode’s performance, scalability, and efficiency.

Bias can be the downfall of any AI model. This matter is especially important now as many countries are developing legal AI regulations. We will verify that the model in question is free from any discrimination or dangerous biases.
